In an effort to improve pedestrian circulation to the southern side of the MCG, the state government committed funding totaling $13 Million to widen the concourse outside gate 7 in the Great Southern Stand. Due to the restrictions associated with carrying out this project, whilst maintaining minimal disruptions to traffic along Brunton Ave, Steelforce Industry Solutions were required to liaise extensively with the design team in order to ensure absolute coordination of design and as-built conditions.
