Steelforce worked with McConnell Dowell on the MCG Concourse Extension project in 2008/9. They were employed through GFC Industries, and interfaced with McConnell Dowell through both the design and construction face. Their Attention to detail, toghether with consideration of the construction restrictions and requirement was excellent. They were proactive and flexible, proposing change or alternate solutions as needed, and worked meticuously through each element on a complex engineering structure. Steel Force worked with Suters Architects on the new state-of-the-art $23m aquatic facility at Noble Park completed in 2012. Steel Force use of 3D technology and attention to detail ensured a high level of coordination with the architectural and services designs, significantly reduced the volume of steel related RFI’s and on site steel rectification work. This meant that the framing could be erected much sooner than the Head Contractor had initially programmed.
